Within Electromobility, the "Electromobility Technical Support" (ETS) is a team full of dedicated, social, innovative, and passionate colleagues with a great sense of humor. The REAL beauty of our team is that we span the full scope of the Electric Propulsion Systems (EPS). We are now looking for one more Build and Update Leader to join our team.

This is the role
As a Build and Update Leader your main responsibility is to be Electromobility department responsible when it comes to prototype vehicle builds, rig updates and rebuilds. You will be the department representative in different fora's such as Vehicle Update Meetings, run by Product Build. The tasks will be to investigate how build updates are affecting eMob department in different product updates, and then to secure specification updates in PROTOM system and secure material through material request order which is the carrier for material of test objects.

You work in close cooperation with Product Build, eMob Component Owners, prototype workshops, production plants and many more, the full scope of the EPS. The role entails a large personal responsibility, supported by your team when needed. You will act as the link between the Design Engineers, Product Managers and Epic Owners. You will also be interface towards Truck Uptime Owners to assist them in securing spare parts when needed for Field Test trucks.

This is you
You have an optimistic mindset and a passion for trucks and electromobility. We believe you already have a solid experience within product documentation and/or truck builds and assembly -and have a genuine interest in developing your skills towards Electromobility. You are a structured team player who cares about the relationship with your colleagues and like to work with others, but at the same time you also take responsibility for your development and can work independently.
You have several years of truck product knowledge on variant/component level
Knowledge in Volvo product documentation systems such as KOLA, PROTOM, Gloria, Creo View etc.
Driver's license for trucks, C
Proficient in written and spoken English
High analytical ability and passion for problem solving, paired with creative and network building abilities, ensures that you succeed in this role
