The job location may be Sweden, Italy or Germany.
Mission Statement:
The BU Trade, Transport & Logistics Manager is responsible for communicating and driving the implementation of the TT&L strategy within the organization in close alignment and collaboration with interfacing functions. He/She acts as change-agent and supports the successful rollout and seamless implementation of new TT&L projects, tools and processes. He/she drives the implementation of best practices to ensure Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and service optimization. He/she will deliver on the KPI's and drive the continuous improvement (CI) of processes, tools and services. The TT&L BU Manager is to be the liaison between HE TT&L and the BU organization. He/She is fully accountable to ensure the quality of the team's operations in accordance with HE and BU regulations and procedures.
Main Responsibilities:
Heavy Lift & Project Transportation Management
Ensure safe and compliant end-to-end transportation planning & execution from order intake until contractual handover to customer, following TT&L strategy and compliance regulations.
Monitor Key Performance Indicators, analyze deviations and ensure that corrective actions are implemented.

Marine Cargo Risk Control
Enhance safe transportation and mitigate risks during transport execution as per Marine Cargo Risk Control guidelines.

General Cargo Transportation Management
Drive compliance with global policies, instructions, processes and initiatives in the region as per the defined governance model and structure for General Cargo Operations which are not managed by the TT&L CoE Organization,
Act as liaison to the Center of Expertise (CoE) Organization for General Cargo Operations,
Monitor CoE Service performance for CoE covered General Cargo Operations and drive continuous improvement in collaboration with the TT&L CoE,,
Ensure that the TT&L requirements of the BU Grid Integration are understood and met during the roll out of the Center of Expertise (CoE) strategy.

Change Management
Drive awareness, act as change-agent with interfacing functions and support the successful rollout and seamless implementation of new TT&L projects, tools, and processes,
Train, support, and coach the TT&L organization on new initiatives and projects

Leadership & People Management
Ensure that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled, directed and individual training needs are met and directed
Lead by example, coach and mentor staff and support individuals to succeed and develop,

Business Management
Manage cascaded initiatives and roll out of global policies and execution to ensure that directives are adhered to TT&L strategy.
Communicate and drive the implementation of the TT&L strategy to meet business requirements within the organization in close alignment and collaboration with interfacing functions.

Business Process Management
Ensure the local organizations (HUB and local units) get trained and support them defining the specific local process.
Ensure that S&OP blueprint is defined within the BU, ensure the S&OP is implemented.
Ensure that S&OP meets the required standard, and a maturity improvement plan is implemented.
Identify and pursue opportunities for continuous improvement to drive efficiency, quality, and sustainability of business processes.
Identify and share best practices and support the end-to-end process optimization and standardization.
Lead/contribute to cross-functional initiatives for optimizing customer and supplier on-time delivery, lead-time, inventory, forecast accuracy and resource utilization. Use Lean Six Sigma tools whenever applicable.
Develop and maintain process maps providing the corresponding training to enable the implementation and the adherence to the same ones.
