Ensuring the supply of materials and services - at the right cost, quality and technology - is essential for the success of Volvo Car Group. Indirect Purchasing (IDP) is responsible for purchasing of indirect material & services and the Facility Purchasing team focus on purchasing of Construction, Rent, Utilities, Facility management and Forklifts. We now need extra resources in the field of Facility Management including sourcing of services for Waste and Scrap management, Industrial and office cleaning. We work closely with our stakeholders mainly at Facility Management and Manufacturing in order to find the best solution for Volvo Cars.
Main responsibilities
• Lead sourcing projects including setting sourcing strategies, conducting request for quotations and negotiate commercial and legal agreements
• Reduce total cost of ownership
• Create and maintain commercial relations with suppliers and stakeholders
• Facilitate sourcing specification documentation
• Ensure purchasing processes are followed and enhanced
Required qualifications
• University degree or equivalent experience in Engineering and/or Business
• Ability to work co-operatively in teams and to independently drive and complete tasks
• Purchasing experience preferable within the Facility Management area
• Fluent in English and Swedish (written and spoken)
