What you will be a part of

Group Communication is a function that leads and develops communication at Saab. Brand Communication is a unit within Group Communication responsible for the Saab brand, production of marketing material and executing Saab's presence at exhibitions globally.
It is an open, creative and very professional culture. Delivering important long-term strategies sit alongside the production of content and communication materials.
We are now looking for a Brand Manager to join our team within Brand Communication in Linköping or Stockholm!
Your role
Managing the Saab brand, you will inspire, motivate and lead employees in this creative and service minded environment. Handling everyday activities means ensuring that all activities are in line with Saab's business plan and guidelines established by Group Communication. Securing cooperation with other parts of Saab's organisation is another important part of the job.
You will be part of the Brand Communication team and report directly to the Head of Brand Communication. Occasional work trips of some duration are to be expected.
Your responsibilities will, amongst other things, include:
Support in developing strategies, messages, policies and guidelines.
Implementing the brand platform, product branding and naming policies etc.
Developing the corporate visual identity manual.
Planning, executing and following up on brand activities.
Being part of both production and ordering of marketing materials, such as photos, film.
Giving brand support to communication staff as well as managers and employees.
Project management.
Your skills and experience
We are looking for a person who has experience of working with communication in an international company or within B2B at a communication agency. You have good knowledge of brand management, marketing communication and production of various material - preferably with a substantial digital component. Knowledge about how to use technology in the customer experience when communicating the brand is an important ingredient. A relevant education is desirable.
You have the ability to think strategically and tactically as well as work operationally, working hands-on within the communication area. It is also essential that you can link communication efforts to business value.
You are fluent in English and preferably Swedish, both spoken and written. Other language skills are also appreciated.
