Business Area Description

Göta Energi is part of Fortum Consumer Solutions, a division within the Fortum Group, providing electricity and gas to households and businesses in Norway, Sweden, Finland and Poland. With a strong customer focus, we design value-adding products, services and easy-to-understand offerings with a powerful digital interface. Together, we are the largest electricity retail business in the Nordics, approaching approximately 2.5 million customers across markets through our consumer brands: Kotimaan Energia, Göta Energi, NorgesEnergi and Fortum.



Your role

Overall responsibility for marketing activities and for ensuring that the marketing team deliver upon strategic objectives that is in correlation with brand value proposition. Oversee marketing projects within the brand and manage input from stakeholders as to transfer this to actions. The ideal candidate will have a strong mix of experience in marketing campaign management, experience in managing direct reports, supporting internal/external partners & will be an excellent communicator.

1. You will contribute to the strong positioning of Göta Energi as a consumer brand, own the local market strategy and manage it both in accordance with the Group's guidelines, and against the rest of the organization.

2. Build on an already strong performance culture, ensure good tactical market plans, make sure that it's an offensive target focus on campaigns and sales activities in mass communication and digital.

3. You will be an active contributor to the development of customer concepts, products and services and their dissemination. Central to this will be the understanding of how we can strengthen our digital surfaces to further enhance our customer experience.

4. Daily management of the market team, competence development in the department and a responsibility to be the link for strategies so that you create good workforce for the team. This will require you to be an experienced, active and inspiring leader for your team.

5. Cooperate with colleagues in the business function of Brand and Communication as to drive best practice across countries for Göta Energi, NorgesEnergi and Kotimaan Energia. These brands alongside central PR and Product communication functions are lead by Head of Brand and communication Energizing, Martin Lindegaard, to whom you report.
