The role of the Business Planning Analyst (BPA) team is to support the business teams in the decision making process to reach financial objectives by analyzing the company's current performance, by synthesizing information and based on this forecasting implications for the short-, mid and long-term.
The BPA Manager in RnD reports to the Head BPA and works closely with the Global COO and his management team. Since this position belongs to the RnD department most of the work will be carried out within specific projects.
Major accountabilities of the role:
• Be the "go-to" person for all finance related questions of the COO and some of his management team members
• Coordinate, prepare and challenge financial plans, budgets and forecasts within the assigned business area
• Monitor and analyze costs on a monthly basis and propose mitigating actions to achieve plans
• Preparation of monthly management reporting with clear financial analysis and business information to support decision making
• Work on building a proactive, customer oriented, data-driven controlling team by enhancing processes, applications and tools
Vem söker vi?
• University degree in a relevant field, e.g. Economics, Business, Engineering
• 3-5 years of relevant experience, e.g. as financial analyst, project- or cost controller within an international organization
• Excellent analytic ability to transform the essence of data to information
• Strong communication and presentation skills, you will have a regular contact with senior management
• Strong IT skills, ERP systems, MS office applications and advanced Excel
• Languages: Fluent in English and Swedish, any additional language beneficial
• As a person you are high on positive energy and are able to operate in a changing environment
