We are currently constructing multiple turnkey data centre projects in 7 different European countries, equating to over 430 MW of IT load in flight.
We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced an BMS Supervisor to join our team.
Below is a list of typical duties but is not exclusive of all duties that are required to be carried out during the project.
Responsibilities:
Management of the BMS and other ELV packages.
Management of Site Safety in conjunction with the Project Manager and the Winthrop Engineering & Contracting Safety Advisor. This will include the setup, management of and closing out of the safety file as part of the Management team.
Drive a focused Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental culture within your team.
Management of Project Schedule in conjunction with Winthrop Project manager, consulting Engineer and Client requirements
Management of all costs associated with your package including:
Winthrop Engineering & Contracting Team
Sub-contractors
Material deliveries and goods receipting.
Plant and Equipment
Variations
Valuations
Management of all day-to-day site operations
Attendance at daily Whiteboard meetings & DABS
Planning and coordination of the works internally at weekly lookahead and scheduling meetings.
Attendance and contribution to the coordination workshops on BIM, system interfaces, External interfaces (with existing operational facility, etc.)
Lead subcontractor weekly planning and progress meetings
Ensure policies and procedures are followed closely.
Management of sub-contractor activities including tracking progress against schedule and manpower levels.
Management of the Winthrop "In Progress" snagging system. Manage the site teams ensuring that punch lists are returned as works progress. Ensure all snags are distributed to all Sub-contractors
Issue direct labour hours and sub-contractor hours to time administrator for tracking centrally.
Attendance at Site Meetings, Internal Project Reviews, Engineering Reviews, Planning and Co-ordination Meetings and Handover Meetings
Issue weekly reports. This will include all orders placed, materials expected, labour levels, risks, issues (and their mitigation strategies/options).
Inspection and sign off of completed works and in line with company Quality Management System.
Schedule and lead quality inspections of the works (Red/Yellow/Green Tag and all associated scripts on the Commissioning Software)
Drive compliance and rectification of any issues on internal and client quality systems for formal sign-off of issues (snags, RCA, NCR, etc.)
Issue internal weekly progress report rolled up from project supervisors report. This will highlight progress percentage complete based on WBS codes and any concerns. It should also highlight any risk elements within the control of Winthrop Engineering & Contracting, e.g.: late deliveries.
Issue external weekly progress report, to the project manager, highlighting areas not available, delays, shortage of design, third party hold ups and percentage complete.
Schedule material deliveries to correspond with the project schedule. Track all deliveries.
Maintain a weekly project photographic diary
All other duties associated with the role.

Requirements:
Proven record of coordinating and managing large installation projects
Knowledge of Health & Safety
Experienced in design and build
