Come and join us at CEVT and become a part of a passionate team that is responsible for the Battery Management System in the Battery & HV Electronics department. We mainly work with the software and hardware in the BMS for our 400 & 800 V systems, requirement balancing, supplier discussions and validation, as well as all related functionality in the vehicle. We secure that the performance, quality, and attributes are met under all conditions in all use cases. Since we work with emerging technologies, we are always at the forefront of technology and development. We collaborate with suppliers, with the Geely family development centers and with universities and institutions to secure that we deliver innovation and front edge technology.
This is what you will do:
The BMS team is responsible for the development, integration, and validation of the BMS for our HV batteries in our car platform projects. You will work in an agile set up in close collaboration with the team to systematize, handle requirement setting as well as collaborate with and guide suppliers to secure the best possible solutions and components.
You will work in a broad context, where you will contribute with your knowledge in different pre-studies and tech projects, as well as our vehicle projects, spanning all the way from small function tweaks to all new ECU setups and development of certain application software functions.
As a technical expert you will:
• Be responsible to develop and maintain our strategies and roadmaps for advanced BMS functionality.
• Secure high level advanced BMS functionality and competence in areas such as prediction of lifetime and malfunctions and big data strategy for securing the residual value of batteries.
• Responsibility for competence development, dissemination, and collaboration in the BMS area in the company.
• Interaction with suppliers in China and elsewhere
• Interaction with many other teams to handle functional interfaces.
• Making requirements in SystemWeaver and MS Office tools.
Suitable background and experiences:
This is a senior role, and we are looking for you who have a solid background within BMS software & functions. We want to have the following skills and experiences:
• Holistic system approach
• Knowledgeable in automotive on the Battery Management System
• Knowledgeable within HV batteries
• SW development tools, e.g., MATLAB, Simulink, Python
• AUTOSAR modeling
• Good knowledge about interfaces commonly used within the Automotive industry, e.g., CAN/LIN
• Extensive knowledge about trends and applicability of new technologies and standards
• Experience from feasibility studies and system set-up in early phases
• Fluent in English
• Driver's license B
Merits:
• Experience in embedded electronics and ECU development
• Agile way of working, e.g., Scrum or Kanban
• Functional safety knowledge, according to ISO 26262
• Proficiency in SystemWeaver, Teamcenter and CarCom
• Familiar with leading Supplier Joint Reviews, reviewing and attending FMEA 's etc.
