BMS SW ENGINEER - BATTERY/ENERGY STORAGE
MBE are expanding within e-mobility.
We shall together with our client develop new core technology for sustainable electric operation of heavy duty vehicles. We are now looking for skilled ENGINEERS within BATTERY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM to strengthen our team within battery development for electric propulsion.
You will be an important contributor in development of COMPLETELY new battery capabilities and functions.
The main tasks are to meet the markets increasing expectations of battery life, battery power, energy density and consumption according to functional safety standards as ISO 26262. This is done by developing the energy storage system, calibrate propulsion related functions from battery.
Our client work in agile teams together with top international competence in software development and design teams. The daily work is an exciting mix of time spent in engine laboratory, virtual testing, simulation, data analysis, creative meetings and vehicle testing. Reaching the Paris agreement of 100% zero emission vehicles sales 2035 requires FOCUSED development of advanced control strategies for batteries and electric machines together with the support from the society's infrastructure development.
In this job you will follow your calibration work from draft to test cell and to verification in the truck.
Qualifications
We would like you to have experience from calibration in automotive driveline development. If you have worked with technical design, software testing, development or technical certification it's a plus. We think you have an outgoing and service minded personality who likes to have structure and order in your work. The ability to prioritize as well as being communicative and encourage/drive others are qualities that are highly valued for these assignments. We are happy to see female applicants.
• MSc Engineering electrical, chemistry, machine or similar relevant proven technical experience
• We believe you have three years or more experience of SW-testing and automation test in C++, Python and CAPL. Experienced to work with GIT and Gerrit.
• We believe you have three years' or more experience in OBD or combustion engine calibration.
• Experience in diagnostics modelling and optimization is beneficial.
• Experience in CI (Jenkins, Bamboo, gtest, Zuul etc) is beneficial.
• Experience within functional safety standards as ISO26262.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken
