We involved our entire staff in an internal reorganization process. One of the key agreements that came out of it was to organize the school into three separate but linked units; a Primary school (1-3), a Junior School (4-6) and a Senior School (7-9). Each school unit will have its own Assistant Principal (AP) who has the overall responsibility for running that school with the support and guidance of the school's overall principal.
This is an excellent opportunity to lead a school and develop a team within a supportive structure. Each AP will have an administrative assistant and will be a part of the overall school leadership team together with the other APs and the school's Principal. The role involves:
• coordinating the whole school's activities
• interviewing new staff members
• planning training for existing staff
• developing existing routines
• managing the school's budget, coordinating school events
• developing the curriculum together with the Heads of Departments
• conducting development talks
Along with other exciting responsibilites.
Successful candidates will receive training and guidance in their new roles. A full job description will be posted on our webpage on Monday 19th March.
