Do you have a few years' experience of working with statistics within clinical trials? Are you interested in joining a fast-paced global company and eager to bring new ideas regarding statistics and statistical programming? Then you should keep reading! At Galderma in Uppsala, we are now looking for a statistician for the group of Global Biometrics within Clinical Development.
As statistician within the group of Global Biometrics you will join a small team based in central Uppsala and also be part of a bigger team based in the US and Switzerland, and you are expected to bring statistical expertise to Galderma's field of activities.
Job responsibilities / Ditt uppdrag
In the role as statistician you will perform all work tasks related to statistics within clinical trials, for example be part of the study protocol development discussion, writing statistical analysis plans and the statistical section of study protocols. You are expected to perform statistical analysis of study data and contribute to the writing and reviewing of clinical study reports and study publications, assuring that the reports correctly reflect the result of the statistical analyses. The work will also include communication with authorities and cooperation with CROs.
Minimum requirements/ Är du den vi söker?
To perform well and feel at home in this role you have a university degree in statistics or mathematical statistics equivalent to a Master of Science, and you have experience in designing and evaluating clinical studies within pharmaceuticals and/or medical device development. Furthermore you:
* Are fluent in English, both in speaking and writing.
* Are experienced in statistical programming (preferably SAS) and/or building clinical databases.
As a person you need to be secure enough to defend recommendations and provide supporting rational that is needed to support the designs or statistical analysis results.
