Quantitative Biology is now looking for a statistician or data scientist to start a 6-months consultant assignment as soon as possible.

As a statistician in preclinical development, you are expected to provide statistical expertise in the design, planning and evaluation of in-vivo and in-vitro studies and in assay development. This includes extensive interaction with scientists in other fields, building and internalizing appropriate algorithms and techniques, developing Shiny apps and expanding our knowledge and use of Bayesian techniques.
Vem är du?
Required Background:
• Minimum MSc in Mathematical Statistics, Statistics, Biostatistics or similar subject with a strong focus on statistics.
• Good knowledge of R
• Good collaboration, communication and influencing skills.
• Good written and spoken English.
Desired Additional Background or Skills:
• One or more of the following is an advantage:
• Higher academic degree
• Experience from drug development or other related fields
• Experience with Bayesian techniques
• Experience with Shiny

A successful candidate has interest and ability to communicate statistical matters to other experts as well as interest in the application of statistical methodology in pharmaceutical development.
