Working in a team at our Uppsala office, this role involves the management and administration of BioProcess service upgrades, which is a growing business within the Life Sciences Service organisation.
Essential Responsibilities:
Act as project leader for minor upgrade projects
Provide written quotations to regional service organization
Purchase of materials including discussions with sub-suppliers
Maintain good communications with distribution teams
Manage deliveries including creation of article numbers in Magic & Oracle systems and providing regular feedback to regional service teams
Investigate improvement opportunities, including ways or working, administration and procedures
Be aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
Qualifications/Requirements:
Solid understanding of service needs and spare parts supply chain to independently set up new spare parts, identify obsolescence and updating spare parts documentation
Experience working within service business and ability to understand business structures and cross-functional operations
Good computer skills -Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team in a collaborative manner and ability to deliver excellent customer service in a self dependent way
• Effective organisational and administrative skills
Confidence to make independent decisions, with a flexible attitude open to multi-tasking in a changing environment and with new ways of working
Location of role:- GEHC Uppsala, Sweden

Desired Characteristics:
Bachelor Degrees with relevant experience in the service business within life science industry
Practical experience with GEHC BioProcess chromatography and filtration instrumentation is preferable
Knowledge and experience with GE information sources and data bases also an advantage
Current Driving license is preferable
