hela Sverige As a Biomechanics Research Specialist within the Autoliv research team you are guiding and supporting the product development team in the design of new life-saving products. This includes identifying issues in the current transportation system as areas for intervention from accident data and other sources as well as developing ideas for technical solutions and establishing test and assessment methods to prove their value. You will be working in close collaboration with other research teams such as Accident Research, Test & Innovation and Regulation & Rating as well as with the different global development teams. Your work typically leads to strategy papers, product ideas, and test methods suitable for regulation and NCAPs.
As a Specialist at Autoliv Research, you produce accurate results within short time. You carry out thorough validation of your results to guarantee accuracy. You document your work in reports and presentations and communicate internally as well as externally such as to project partners, in working groups and at conferences. You typically author several scientific publications per year.
As a Specialist we expect you to guide and lead colleagues and supervise thesis workers. You develop expertise in new areas by yourself. You create, scope, and lead research projects involving multiple contributors, i.e. ensure that quality, time and budget plans are fulfilled.
You typically have a PhD degree in Science or Engineering and a sound body of peer-reviewed publications. You can communicate fluently in English while further language skills are an asset. Furthermore, you like to give presentations and share your research results with others. You thrive in an environment where you can work with others and where the purpose of your work can impact people's lives. Relevant work experience is required.
