hela Sverige The work is multidisciplinary and therefore requires wide knowledge and experience in different subjects, including biochemistry, environmental biotechnology, organic chemistry, and others.
Among the defined tasks:
Be resposible for and plan all research activities within the project.
Identify specific parameters that can be analyzed in human and environmental samples.
Develop or adapt biochemical/analytical assays that can be customized for use in smart phone applications.
Design and execute the experiments in close collaboration with academia.
Analyze and evaluate results, and write detailed scientific reports.
Establish collaborations at both national and international levels.
Education / Experience:
As a potential candidate, You have a PhD degree (less than 2 years old) in biotechnology or biochemistry with big drive towards applied sciences and biotechnologies. You have documented experience (not less than 5 publications in peer-reviewed international journals) in topics of relevence to the described work (e.g. development of enzymatic assays, green technologies, biochemical analyses, biosynthesis and elucidation of new compounds). Development of putative commercial products during previous research/work is considered advantageous. Ability to link the developed assays to smart phone applications is appreciated but not crucial.
You have a working experience (not necessarily long) within the Swedish industry and can express youself professionnally in English and Swedish. Foreign applicants are required to have at least a "SFI" level in Swedish. Being multilingual is a merit due to the international collaborative nature of the work, and the need of addressing specific clients in the future (among the desired languages: french and arabic). The work is carried out in a pretty flexible environment, open for professionalism and creativity.
