• Contribute in resin development with emulsification and crosslinking of agarose biopolymers
• Plan, conduct and report the work
• Contribute with resin characterisation
• Develop and share knowledge of agarose/biopolymer bead technologies
• Monitor the progress in the field
• Commitment to quality - to work according to ISO9001:2015
Candidate requirements (qualifications/experience)
• MSc or PhD in Polymer or Material science and engineering, polymer chemistry, surface chemistry, or similar
• Experience in polymer science, organic chemistry, or polysaccharide chemistry
• Experience in polymer characterisation by physical and chemical methods
• Fluent in English
Person specification:
• Knowledge in biopolymer modification and characterisation
• Strong skills in conducting and recording scientific work
• Well-organised, flexible and sharing information within the organisation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
• Self-motivated and with strong communication skills
