The product management role is the hub between R&D, Production and Sales with accountability for the company's product portfolio. Bio-Works is now extending the function and are looking to hire one more person.
The Product Manager will work with everything that has to do with ensuring that the customer receives attractive and well supported products of high quality. This includes defining and initiating development projects needed to expand the portfolio as well as ensuring that existing products are fulfilling customer and market requirements.
The role requires understanding of chromatography products/techniques and the protein/peptide purification challenges that our customers have. Therefore, the person we are looking for needs to have a university degree in biotechnology or similar education.
The position requires travelling to support sales when in-depth product knowledge is required, so mastering one language other than English is preferred and possession of a valid driving license is required.
Previous experience of product management, preferably in the Life Science field, and/or chromatography application experience are important skills for this position.
Key responsibilities:
• Ensuring the products are well supported with appropriate documentation
• Continuous review of product portfolio suggesting additions and deletions
• Defining new products and projects as well as lead product launch projects
• Supporting sales with in-depth product knowledge in customer communication
• Handling customer feedback and complaints

Candidate requirements (qualifications/experience)
• Minimum 3 years of experience as product manager or application specialist
• Work experience in the field of Life Science or similar
• University degree in biotechnology/biology or similar
• Fluent English and preferably one other language
• A valid driving license
