You will be part of the product group HVDC within Hitachi Energy in Ludvika. The HVDC technology has been on the market for the past 60 years and is used to transmit power over long distances with minimal losses, using overhead lines, underground and submarine cable systems. BIM modeling and content creation including 3D/4D/5D models.
Lead project BIM and Model coordination meetings: spatial coordination of disciplines, gathering all disciplines BIM models including civil and performing coordination tasks.
Conduct 3D design Reviews, clash detection and conflict resolution.
Manage and assist in the coordination efforts of all parties involved in the project including owners, architects/engineers, consultants and contractors.
Manage BIM content development for projects.
Create 3D renderings and animations.
Coordinate electronic information transfer and integrity of the Common Data Environment.
Support project team by managing and creating content library files and templates, creating and enforcing standards and evaluating project models.
Act as the main point of contact for BIM technology and any related issues between the construction managers, subcontractors, owners, design team, and others as required.
Aid in the preparation and revisions of project budgets, estimates, and construction schedules.
Prepare periodic progress reports regarding the status of projects as required by Management.
Good communication skills to resolve design issues among the various participants.
Liaison with clients and other consultants regarding BIM standards/processes, and document project BIM standards/processes for distribution to the project team.
Your background
As a foundation, you have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering/Civil Design or a related field, combined with at least three years of experience in 3D Modelling.
You have deep knowledge in BIM applications, customizations, processes and application usage.
It's required that you have at least three years of experience from Revit Architecture, MagiCAD, Dynamo, AutoCAD and Navisworks, as well as 1-3 years of experience from BIM model and data coordination.
You have a general knowledge of National and International BIM standards.
Experience from BIM implementations is qualifying.
On a personal level, you are a natural leader with a creative mindset, great interpersonal skills and an excellent ability to resolve issues.
In this role you need to be self-motivated and work effectively both independently and as part of the team.
It's important that you communicate well at all levels of the organization and get your messages across in a coherent and clear way.
You need to have a high level of integrity and a results-based orientation.
Fluency in English is required, whereas Swedish and other additional languages are highly valued.
