You will be part of Grid Power and Quality Solutions (GPQS), a business unit within HAPG's Power Quality located in Västerås. The business unit develops, manufactures and sells power regulating facilities used to alternate current electricity transmission networks acting either as a source or sink reactive AC power to an electricity network.

Join HAPG as a Building Information Modelling (BIM) Coordinator in the GPQS division and work in a team operating across the world with the dedication to create a future, where innovative digital technologies bring cleaner energy to more people.
In the role as BIM coordinator you will support BIM work across GPQS projects. Directly in the roles as BIM Coordinator in customer projects, and indirectly by participating in global coordination of BIM work across corporate business units. You will have the responsibility to support customer projects with operational BIM work, but also the opportunity to learn across the world on BIM and Digitization experiences. Within this role you will have a great opportunity to grow and advance in your BIM responsibility.
Your responsibilities
Make sure the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) clearly addresses the projects BIM uses and is aligned with the Employers Information Requirements (EIR's)
Develop BIM protocols per need and implement quality control procedures
Support project set-up of the Common Data Environment (CDE)
Support project 3D Model guidelines and coordinate data modelling processes
Identify and document clashes in collaborative design reviews with the design team
In a global BIM team share experiences and develop new digital ways of working

Your background
As a foundation, you have a minimum of a bachelor's Degree in engineering /Civil Design or a related field, combined with skills in 3D Modelling.
You possess on-site project experience dealing with contractors and site teams, understanding the dynamics of the design versus construction.
It's required that you have skills from Revit Architecture MagiCAD, Dynamo, Solibri, AutoCAD and Navisworks, and experience from BIM model and data coordination.
On a personal level you have experience to lead and manage a team (people) with proven results of effective and efficient BIM process implementation using the proper tools (technology) as per the Employers Information Requirement's (policies) in a dynamic project environment.
You are proactive, and capable to mitigate disputes and solve BIM related problems between stakeholders as per the project policies.
You present results and explain errors to the Client, and get messages across in a coherent and clear way.
In this role you need to be self-motivated and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Fluency in English is required, whereas Swedish and other additional languages are highly valued.
