Our client Kindred builds distributed systems for online gambling that handle millions of transactions every day across our many brands. Their development teams deliver new features on a daily basis, doing thousands of releases every year. As a Line Lead at the Kindred Stockholm office your main responsibility is the people. In this role you will be supporting up to 12 software engineers and team leads from diverse backgrounds who are passionate about what they do.
Kindred 's Stockholm office is primarily our tech hub where the websites and core systems are built, maintained and enhanced. Located in the centre of Stockholm the open plan office underwent a big expansion in 2016 to support the growth of the business and to give a fresh modern feel creating an environment benefiting our brand and our work culture including amazing modern workstations.
What will you be doing?
- Be responsible for the growth and personal development of their team members
- Be someone who inspires, coaches and challenges each team member as needed
- Be part of a team of Line Leads that together with HR continuously evolve their culture and their development organisation
- Be a key factor in scaling our organisation by retaining competence and recruiting top talent in the teams
- Be collaborating with all parts of the Tech organisation in order to improve their ways of working
- Be a main support and an enabler for the development teams to ensure their daily work is always enjoyable
What have you done?
- You have several years of experience in leadership and people management
- You have worked with supporting others through coaching and mentoring and you always put the individuals first
- You know how to build successful teams and how to inspire others to make improvement
- You have a technical background in software development, ideally within Java and web development
- You are used to working in Lean and Agile environments and you enjoy a fast-paced environment
- You are positive and pragmatic, and thrive on making others successful
