Your role
As Bid Manager is to coordinate all including parts in a bid project and to deliver complete bids for aircraft modification projects including delivery plans and risk assessments.
The work includes compiling and establishing requirements, conduct start-up and follow up meetings, coordinating the calculating, analyze the outcome and make sure we are in line with the Winning Business process.
You will be part of a highly motivated and open minded Bid team which makes things happen and by close cooperation uses the skilled Saab network in the best possible way. Even though our businesses and products are highly complex we strive to make it easy to understand by communication and improvements.

Your profile
You are a motivated, communicative Project Manager with a good understanding of complex projects in a technical context. Preferably, you have worked with bid operations in large projects. You are a team player and enjoy performing in order to deliver in line with given conditions, sometimes in-depth and sometimes more of an overall estimate. You are interested in developing our ways of working, both in your own organisation and together with stakeholders in our interfacing organisations.
Your qualifications also consists of:
• Good knowledge within project cost control and estimation.
• Good communicative ability, both spoken and written
• Thrives in a global and complex business environment.
What you will be a part of
Airborne ISR is a business unit within Saab Business Area Support & Services. We deliver Surveillance Aircrafts and support of delivered systems.
We are currently managing a number of ongoing major aircraft modification/integration projects. The business and the interests for our platforms are in an expanding phase with many interesting prospects. Our organisation cooperate with a number of different internal interfaces, which calls for excellent cooperation and communication skills.
