We invite applications for the position of Bid Manager to join our Grid Automation Europe tendering team in Northern Europe, part of the Hitachi Energy Group. Our tendering organization is truly global, with teams located across Europe. As we continue to grow in a vibrant market, we are looking to strengthen our team with skilled tendering professionals who will be based in one of our Swedish offices.
How you'll make an impact
Implementing strategies of products sales across 4 countries in North Europe, with support from management and various relevant departments.
Creation of commercially, legally, and technically optimized and high-quality offers, based on the specifications of our customer.
Definition of the scope of supply to be offered.
Close cooperation with supply chain management to solicit quotations from subcontractors.
Cost calculation estimations and determination of the costs, margins, and sales price in cooperation with sales.
Tender planning and on time tender submittals.
Technical support to sales during early pursuit stages as well as supporting the contract negotiation.
Preparation of tender documents and reports for internal risk reviews and tender submission approvals.
Your background
You have bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or similar.
Good understanding of substation automation, control, and protection solutions.
Previous professional experience and strong track record within a similar business area.
Deep knowledge of the grid automation market.
Experience of tendering and commercial processes would be an advantage.
You are Fluent in English and Swedish.
