Bid Manager
in Stockholm we're looking for?

Your future role:
Take on a new challenge and apply your Bid management expertise in a new cutting-edge field.

As a Bid Manager, you will prepare winning proposals according to customer requirements and Alstom's bid strategy. The Bid Manager will be responsible for preparing, leading, and managing bid from Request for Proposal to the Project execution handover. As Bid Manager, you will work in the Bids department for the Nordics region, report hierarchically to the Bid Team Leader.

Your future responsibilities:
Define the bid strategy (technical and commercial) in accordance with Alstom standards and customer requirements in order to build the winning offer
Define and manage bid schedule and budget to ensure on time delivery to the customer,
Lead the bid core team in successful completion of their assigned tasks within schedule, allocated budgets, and scope in the required quality.
Co-ordinate all internal activities (engineering, industrialization, operations, procurement, customer service) to understand customer's needs.
Define clear assumptions to the different cost contributors and get the cost commitments
Prepare risks & opportunities reviews
Consolidate the costing in Alstom tool
Guarantee Alstom Tender Process and obtain mandate by performing the tender review meetings
Ensure the bid documentation is accurately documented and stored, and secure traceability until contract signature
At contract award, drive the transfer to the project team to ensure a smooth transfer
Contribute to Return of Experience (REX) through the Win-Loss Analysis in liaison with Tender Leader and Market Pricing & Strategy

Masters Degree or Bachelor Degree
5+ years of related industry experience ideally with cross-border team management e.g. in Sales, Project Management, Engineering, Procurement or other experience in an international environment, working in multi-disciplined teams.

High capability to manage efficient team working to produce the tender deliverables within a limited time, period and under stressful conditions

Negotiation skills, customer oriented
Fluent English mandatory. Swedish is an asset.
