We are looking for a Bid Engineer for our Västerås facility
Your Role
As a Bid Engineer you take the overall technical responsibility and lead the technical work in a bid project. The role is a combination of technical project manager and systems engineer.
All functions within the engineering organization needed to produce a bid will have to be directed and coordinated by the Bid engineer to deliver the required result on time.
The technical solution selected for the bid also need to be optimized and verified via different kinds of simulation and calculations and the Bid engineer is driving this process supported by experts. You will work in an international environment with a broad network of contacts, both internal and external.
Your Challenges
• Manage the communication on technical matters with our customer
• Leading and coordination of all technical issues of a bid
• Technical work with simulations and technical descriptions
• Develop input to cost calculations
• Develop review material and perform reviews of the selected solution
Your Experience and Qualifications
• Master- or university degree in engineering, preferably in power electronics or electric power generation/distribution
• At least 2-3 years relevant experience as engineer or technical project manager
As a person you are social and you have a drive for results. Since you will have many contacts with both colleagues and customers you have good communication skills.
