They now need to add experience within Business Intelligence and are looking for someone who enjoys processing data; gathering, measuring and analyzing. This role will be a key role in the company and you will have the opportunity to influence decisions regarding tools and methodology and other things related to big data and business intelligence.
The main responsibilities are:
• Gathering data from different data sources.
• Setting up processes in order to measure relevant data
• Being closely connected to the business analysts in order to understand the current and future need of targeted data.
• Being part of setting the strategy concerning choosing tools, methodology and basically way of working.
• Making sure the data is consistent and accurate
• Using machine learning in order to find patterns and act on them.

• You have at least a Bsc degree in computer science or related field and at least a couple of years' experience of working with gathering and structuring Data Collections.
• Knowledge in Data Warehousing concepts.
• You have knowledge in programming languages like Java, Python and/or R as well as with databases (Oracle).
• You are comfortable in building algorithms.
• You have such knowledge in Hadoop based technologies such as MapReduce, Hive MongoDB or Cassandra that you would be comfortable in implementing them or other similar technologies at Ellos.
• You should be able to use English in your daily work, spoken and written.
