We are now looking for a new BI Front end design and developer lead. Are you the person we are looking for?
This is the job....
You will be part of a very business oriented BI unit, and in that team take a leading role in designing and delivering standard and ad hoc reports. A such you will be an integral part of raising the value of information, in laying a foundation for a data driven culture.
The Swedish BI Unit is part of the Swedish Business IT organization, managed by the CIO.
Your manager is the Head of BI for Tele2 Sweden.
As a BI Front end design and developer lead you will be responsible to:
- Proactively design and development of standard- and adhoc reports in BI tools.
- Document and maintain reports.
- Build and maintain mobile BI applications
- Develop and maintain other objects in BI tools used for reporting, (i.e. Cognos cubes or frame works)
- Answer questions that arises among users, what reports to use for what, what can be done, what are challenges.
- Suggest solutions for reports to best meet requirements, have high performance and are maintainable.
- Keep yourself informed about data quality issues.
- Write incidents on, and follow up on progress of, data quality or other issues when so required to.
This is what you have...
- Excellent communication skills with IT and core business
- Very skilled in reporting tools, specifically Cognos BI, Cognos Analytics and MS Power BI
- You will need to acquire very detailed knowledge about the data and information models as well as of core business processes and applications.
- Very service minded and open to new challenges with end users value as primary driver
- Previous experience of Telecom is a high desire
- Advanced skills and extensive previous experience of Cognos BI/Analytics is required.
