The role
Our Business Intelligence and Reporting team needs a BI Data Engineer to develop and maintain data warehouse solutions, the main aim being to extract key data in terms of reporting and statistics. This data establishes a firm basis for all our decision-making and analytical processes.

You will set up and manage data aggregates, schedule jobs and reports, as well as innovate and implement changes to how our data is used. This role requires interaction with other departments to gather requirements before implementing and supporting solutions.

What you will do
Use your great attention to detail to gather BI information
Proactively ensure that reports are accurate, timely and meet stakeholders' requirements
Create and maintain PL/SQL packages
Develop new reports and maintain current ones
Challenge existing processes and propose improvements
Investigate data to solve problems
Recommend best practices (testing, documentation and development)



Your experience
Advanced Oracle (11g and above) SQL writing and optimisation
Creation and maintenance of PL/SQL packages
Experienced at dealing with large volumes of data
Setting up dashboards and reports for end users
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in English language
Proven growth mindset with a passion for excellence using complex data structures and problem solving
Natural ability to be logical and inquisitive enough to pick up new data concepts and tools quickly

An advantage
Knowledge of Python, Java or Scala
Qlik Sense and Apex experience
Understanding of data warehouse concepts
