Now we open an excellent opportunity for an experienced BI Architect / IT Analyst to join us on the journey of creating a foundation for the future of Nordea.
The position we offer
As a BI Architect / IT Analyst you will take lead in aligning business requirements and developing Nordea's future BI architecture and technology roadmap in close cooperation with several stakeholders. You will provide guidance to the Business, Operations and IT teams to drive the implementation of best practices and standards, taking into consideration of several perspectives i.e. analytical needs, cost reduction, simplification, compliance and risk mitigation.
Primary responsibilities include:
• Work with business and IT to assess business needs, define priorities and evaluate options, risks and benefits for recommended solutions.
• Translate organization strategies into operational strategies and practical solutions that meet internal as well as external compliance and other requirements.
• Participate in the development of domain information architectures and conceptual modeling, aligned with Nordea's Big Data platform technology roadmap.
• Participate in domain IT architectural forums, reviewing IT development projects throughout their different phases.
• Participate in the formal communications to and education of stakeholders regarding the domain related strategies in relation to business solutions plan.
• Collaborate with business to identify and evaluate business challenges and to define their solutions.
• Research, identify and recommend industry best practices to solve business problems.
The qualifications you need
To apply for this role it is essential that you have proven BI Architecture / IT Analyst experience, gained within financial services or other technology environments. Besides a minimum of 5 years of working experience you have a M.Sc. or Ph.D. in computer science or other relevant area such as mathematics or physics.
We further believe that you have:
• Extensive experience planning and deploying both business and IT initiatives.
• Experience working with third party providers and vendors in a global environment.
• Experience of BI/Data modelling and architectural design using a variety of techniques and tools.
• Experience in working with business leaders and managers to define applications changes, negotiate priorities and implementation dates.
• Experience with complex (cross-border) change and transformation projects, capability modelling, developing roadmaps and experience of dealing with senior stakeholders.
You have strong analytical skills coupled with a broad view of business. We believe that you possess a strong capability to fully appreciate the need for strategy and its capabilities, processes, governance and enabling technologies to understand the relevant business objectives and issues.
