In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:
• Build and grow the Operational Data Lake (ODL) and Change Data Capture (CDC) capabilities within the bank and the Group Business Intelligence Architect Guild
• Help build, maintain and support data integrations and applications that underpin our operational and analytical needs. The role will help build and evolve standards and patterns towards a data centric bank
• Swedbank is increasing its analytical capabilities and diversifying its data landscape, looking at new ways of capitalizing on data, with the goal of better knowing and hence better serving our customers. In doing this, new platforms and technologies for discovery, advanced analytics and big data and security management will be explored and introduced. This will be done in close cooperation with the business and IT
• Architecture governance of platform, development processes, and evolution and support of ODL
• Solution design and support of ODL, including topics, producers, consumers and streaming applications
• Optimizing Operational management of the ODL platform secure a stable highly available service with no downtime and no data loss
What is needed in this role:
• Relevant academic degree
• 5 years+ of experience in ODL architecture and or development related roles
• Experience in executing cloud services and driving business change
• Experience of leading architectural work in enterprise transformation programs
• Experience of architectural work in enterprise transformation programs to Cloud
• Experience of architectural work in enterprise transformation programs to CDC
• Solid understanding of information architecture, data governance and BI service development methodology
• Experience in providing technical leadership, coaching and mentoring
• Have a genuine interest to learn new skills and help others to succeed
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Fluency in written and oral English
• As an architect you are business oriented and understand that architecture is a means to an end and not a goal in itself. You are eager to learn how the business works and how new technology in the BI area can be used to accelerate business and customer value
• You are self-motivated and have a can-do attitude and you are able to work both individually and with other people from different parts of Swedbank
