BU Commodities within Customer and Solutions region Nordic supports Business- and Consumer Sales with ownership of a legally- and regulatory compliant, sustainable and value-adding product- and service portfolio. Contributes to gross margin optimization by managing the pricing strategy and framework as well as hedging strategies and execution of financial sourcing. Manages risks associated with electricity sales and handle the physical power purchase and balance management.

What we do
You will be part of the Power Management team, which has the responsibility to source the electricity that will be used by our customers in the Nordics. It is a tight team of eight colleagues that report to the Head of Power Management.

What you will do
In your role as Business Intelligence Analyst you will mainly work with the digital development of our systems and tools as well as our product and service portfolio for physical electricity sourcing and customer consumption flexibility and optimization. Your will be part of our digitalization journey and develop our new customer interface used for the day ahead, intraday and balancing services.
Typical tasks or projects can be working close to the sales organization learning about the business and then translate the business need to specification, development and improvement of our systems. It could also be developing models for physical power trading and asset optimization, analysis of consumption patterns and using the results for discovering new business opportunities, new solutions and supporting in formulating business strategies. As a part of this role you will also directly work with sourcing electricity for our customers, combining sophisticated forecasting tools and your analytical skills to accurately determine market conditions and client needs.

Qualifications
In order to be successful as a BI Analyst we highly value your personal qualities, and believe you are driven by new challenges and an eagerness to learn. It is meritorious that you have hands-on experience from system/data management such as Dynamics/SQL/programming, preferably from the energy or finance sector. Having experience an agile work style is a plus.
Qualifications
Relevant technical university degree or equivalent.
Fluent in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
Work-life experience from the energy market, analytics, data management and/or dynamics/SQL/programming is meritorious.

As a person you are curious and an analytical problem solver and are able to work with mathematical models (or comfortable learning to do so). At the same time, you are flexible and willing to work on more straightforward tasks, if this is what is needed to support the business.
You are outgoing, take initiatives, strive for results and have a willingness to interact directly with customers or external partners. You are enthusiastic about working close with other members of the team - sharing ideas and developing models together. You have the ability to plan and work in a structured way and you are known for a prompt and excellent delivery of even the most complex issues.
