http://www.rfsu.se/en/Engelska/ RFSU's purpose is to drive and mobilise for change towards sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), choice and pleasure. RFSU aims to strengthen international legal, political and financial support for SRHR, and contributes to civil society agency on SRHR, by partnering with other civil society actors and supporting progressive civil society voices in low- and middle-income countries. RFSU cooperates with approx. 40 civil society organisation in 20 different countries worldwide. RFSU needs to expand our international team with expertise on conflict-management.
Your areas of responsibilities
• focal point for conflict-management. Increase RFSU's capacity in doing conflict-assessments and adapting projects in order to mitigate risks.
• develop tools and guidelines to support conflict-management in RFSU partnerships.
• represent RFSU externally in terms of conflict sensitivity and SRHR
• engage with relevant actors addressing SRHR and increase their capacity in terms of conflict-sensitivity
• coordinate with RFSU-staff in Liberia managing partnerships.
• be part of RFSUs Ghana-team managing partnerships.
Your profile
You want to contribute to RFSU's vision; to drive and mobilise for sexual and reproductive rights and pleasure. We also expect you to have five years' documented experience of work in a conflict/post-conflict setting in provided support in conflict-management to civil society organisations. Experience of grant management and organisational development of civil society organisations, is highly value, as is experience of working at a non-governmental organisation. You have a university-degree relevant to this position. Experience of working with sexual and reproductive rights and language-skills in French, English and other languages is highly valued. You need to be willing to learn Swedish, as the position is located at RFSUs office in Stockholm, which has Swedish as it's working language. As a person, you are strongly motivated and capable of working independently and with others. You have a good team spirit and the ability to build trustful relationships. You have good teaching and communication skills.
