The electrification trend within the automotive business is moving rapidly. For P&L this means that we need to prepare for ramping up production of electrical vehicles and help Scania become more sustainable. One major component in an electrical vehicle is the battery. Therefore we have set up a team that is running projects for in-house production of battery modules and battery packs.
We are now looking for a manager to handle our Logistic development department. A group of 8-15 persons now located in both the production facility as well as the project office for battery production. We are now focused on the project deliveries but soon also start looking beyond that and start preparation for future challenges.
You will be a part of a logistic management team with Logistic manager, Planning manager, Logistic engineering manager and Material handing manager. There will be a close corporation within the management team to be able to handle the daily situations as well for preparing the methods, organization and personal ready for the coming challenges.
Personal characteristics we like to see is holistic view, structure, openness, helpfulness and flexibility.
You should have a Bachelor or Master of Science degree and 3-5 years of experience of being a manager.
Even though most personnel speaks Swedish the team and the project often speaks and writes in English. It is important that you are comfortable and skilled with both languages.
