Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

Dedicated to a sustainable future
The electrification trend within the automotive business is moving rapidly. For P&L this means that we need to prepare for ramping up production of electrical vehicles and help Scania become more sustainable. One major component in an electrical vehicle is the battery. Therefore we have set up a project team with focus to develop the process for in house production of battery modules, battery packs and VCB cables.

The projects for inhouse production at Scania are aiming to acquire, install and start up the production of new generation batteries on site in Södertälje, Sweden. The work is conducted in close cooperation with our purchasing team and R&D. We are looking to expand our team with one industrial engineer. Both Module and Pack teams are ramping up the industrial engineering work and we therefore want to hire an ambitious, engaged and driven engineer. We are looking for a flexible team player, that is dedicated to a sustainable future.
