hela Sverige We are currently looking for an LTE and 5G Baseband expert to take on the challenges to develop multi-standard solutions for the next generation wireless products.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for physical/MAC layer SW architecture design for 5G wireless products, to define requirements, design application and features, drive technical studies, and coordinate works between different teams.
You are going to work closely with physical layer algorithm developers, MAC layer scheduler algorithm developers, hardware designers and software designers. The project is organized in very close cooperation with the Huawei wireless teams in Shanghai.
Qualifications and experience
To be successful in this role the candidate should have more than 5 years industrial experience in software development and strong background in wireless communications.
He/She should have 8 years of experience in SW architectural design of PHY Layer or MAC layer, experience in parallel programming, and hands-on skills in software implementation on multi-core SoC.
Here are some of technical competences for the position:
experience in Baseband application
experience in SW platform
real-time, close-to-hardware programing with cache, cache coherency, DMA and memory management
inter-processor communication and task scheduling
SW modeling knowledge or experience such as actor-based parallel modeling methodology, development process of Eclipse components, UML/SysML modelling
A Master Degree or Ph.D in computer science, electrical engineering, wireless communication or equivalent background is required.
Other
The candidates should have highly developed skills in finding new innovative solutions, strategic visions and ability of leading and driving activities.
Prior experience from international and multicultural work is preferred.
As we are a global company the candidate must be able to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing.
This is a full-time consultancy position at the Huawei R&D office in Stockholm.
