About this opportunity

Product Development Unit Baseband SW (PDU BB) is part of Development Unit Networks and responsible for driving end to end baseband software product development by having competence and capability to take on full feature responsibility.
As a software developer, you will work in a team that has the responsibility for developing 5G baseband software products. That means analyzing system requirement, code the solution, test the outcomes and deliver it. After that you see through that your delivery passes all the continuous integration loops to ensure quality standards.
You will experience a truly collaborative and supportive environment, both in terms of tools and colleagues. And you will have lots of fun. We are located mainly on different sites in Sweden, Canada, China and US. This position is based at our Stockholm, Kista site. For this opportunity, we're looking for four new colleagues to join the team.
In short you will:
Work as a part of agile multi-functional team
Analyze system requirement
Break down large epic into smaller user-stories
Sketch optimized solutions and code them (mostly in embedded C)
Perform Unit test for the implemented solution
Maintain and improve the quality of the Baseband product by adding clean optimized code and refactoring
Perform trouble shooting of issue reported both internal and by the customers
Drive continuous improvements of products, environments, and processes
You will bring

In addition, we believe you have:
Interest a drive to learn software development and troubleshooting
BSc level (MSc preferred) in a technical field or the equivalent level of knowledge
Programming/scripting skills in C/C++, Java, Python and/or similar languages
Multi-core processor understanding
Basic Real time embedded systems knowledge
