We seek outstanding engineers to join our team. These individuals will help support the continued development and realization of providing printed electronics of the future.
We are looking for a base process engineer to be based in Linköping, Sweden. The job will focus on developing and maintaining a baseline for our p and n type transistors. You will be responsible for ensuring that our baseline process is functional. You will process transistors according to the POR (Process of Record) for each transistor type. You will consistently and carefully produce transistors according to the POR. An important part of the job is to improve the yield of the processes. You will constantly improve the process by carefully evaluating suggestions for improvement and thereafter include in the POR. You will be a part of the Thinfilm transistor development team.
The majority of the work will take place in the cleanroom at Thinfilm. Experience and formal qualifications in process development, semiconductor or nanotechnology processing is highly relevant, though we also look for and value the ability to work independently and in teams and demonstrated English-language communication skills.
Tasks:
• Maintain the base process for producing transistors using semiconductor processing
• Improve the yield of the base process
• Evaluation and testing of new materials / improved materials upon need
• Preparation of substrates, materials and inks for processing
Requirements:
• M Sc in engineering, preferably within the nanotechnology, semiconductor technology or similar
• You shall have both a practical and theoretical knowledge about microelectronics processing or printing of functional materials
• We expect that you enjoy doing careful and systematic practical work in a high-paced environment
• We expect that you are an inventive person good at solving problems in the lab
• Excellent English speaking and writing skills
• Excellent team player
Beneficial requirements:
• Experience in working in clean room environment is an advantage
• Industrial experience is an advantage
• Experience and knowledge of physical or surface chemistry is an advantage
