Job Description
We are continuing to grow and need to bolster our team with more exceptional developers. The team is responsible for building backend routing service, which helps millions of people every day with their cycling, driving, walking and public transit needs. We are looking for outstanding software engineers to improve this navigation product. If you are passionate about building the world's best navigation platform at massive scale, this opportunity is for you.
Responsibilities
Working on high-performance code using C++
Designing and implementing new solutions
Participating in design and code reviews
Working with other engineers and QA to deliver a high quality experience to our users.
Being responsible for code maintenance duties (including incident screening and identifying bugs).
Assist with various team and support needs to ensure our systems are well maintained and our projects remain on schedule.
Qualifications
Are you an experienced developer who recognizes yourself in the following?
Professional experience in writing reliable and complex solutions in C++
Strong understanding of common data structures and basic graph algorithms
Good interpersonal and communication skills, possessing the ability to work both independently and in a global team environment
Fluent communication in English with a sense for listening to others as well as getting your message across concisely
Either permanent residency in Sweden, or commitment to moving to Sweden, preferably near Malmö as the work is on-site in Malmö
Extra Merit qualifications:
Experience with Maps, routing, navigation, or geometrical computation
Experience in writing Python tools
Experience with macOS or Linux
