Lifesum is growing, and the engineering team is no exception, which is why we're looking for a Backend Engineer to dive into a multitude of complex, technical projects and work to make the Lifesum Backend absolutely cutting edge. Are you looking for a place where you can make an impact in your daily work? Working as a backend engineer you will work with a very interesting product with a lot of potential and an exciting and challenging journey for the team to get up to speed with the technology strategy that has been set.
Responsibilities and what you will do
• Learn, maintain and improve our existing codebase
• Write and review high-quality code and technical documentation
• Collaborating with the rest of the backend team to build the Lifesum backend and make sure that it's absolutely top-notch
Are you the one we're looking for?
To be successful in this position we believe that you have
• 3-5 years of experience as a backend developer
• An attitude that says can-do and a great willingness to learn and dig deep into our codebase
• Designed and developed microservices and event-driven solutions
• Experience from working with legacy code
If you have a love for test-driven development we would be extremely excited and if you have worked with mobile application backend before we really want to talk to you!
Of course, we would be even happier if you have an interest in either health & fitness or food, but if you would rather chill in the sofa and watch Game of Thrones, you are equally welcome at Lifesum!
