hela Sverige Stockholm Headhunting has been commissioned to find a Backend developer to Lendo. Lendo started in Sweden but are now available in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Danmark, Austria and are planing on expanding with two more countries this year. With the international expansion the development department will remain in Stockholm. As Lendo gets more well known, they are investing even more time in refining and improving their system. As a developer at Lendo, you are given the opportunity to be part of a company continuously expanding.
About Lendo
Lendo is the leading comparison service of private loans in Swenden, part of the global Schibsted Media Group. Lendo has been on the Swedish market since 2007, and it's headquarter is located in central Stockholm at Västra Järnvägsgatan 21 (Schibsted house). They work with around 30 different banks and lending institutions, and are constantly increasing their profits. Lendo is a smaller company part of a huge organisation, which means the best of both worlds. You will have a lot of ability to impact and be part Lendos way forward. About the role
As a Backend developer you will be a part of a cross-functional team that consists of both Frontend- and Backend developers. The developing team currently consists of eighteen developers divided into two teams; Team Sweden and Team Expansion. They work agile with two week sprints with clearly set goals. The development department consists of independent developers that value good team work. The team works with a brand new micro service platform written in Golang and Node.js. Lendo uses a modern technology stack such as Kubernetes, Docker, React RabbitMQ and PostgreSQL. You will build software that is used by a great number of people everyday. You will optimize micro services and make them reusable for Lendo in multiple countries. You will share your knowledge with colleagues and discuss how to meet and solve country- specific requirements.
Because Lendo is a relatively small company, the decision paths are short, and you will participate in Lendos whole process and contribute to new technical solutions on the web platform. Lendo seeks you who wants to take the product to the next level, and puts a lot of effort in improving your own development. If you have financial interest that will of course make work much more fun. Lendo believes you have a few years of working experience of Backend Development. What language you have experience working with is not the most important. What is more important is your interest and curiosity working with new technologies like Golang.
As a person, you are self-sufficient in your work. Lendo focuses heavily on "soft skills" which means that you are easy going with a natural ability to interact with both business and customers. You enjoy working and probably have programming as one of your greatest interests. Furthermore, you like to take initiatives, and are skilled at collaborating in smaller teams. You are careful in your work and thoughtful in your decisions, you do not do things the same way it has always have been done, rather you experiment, test, try, fail and learn all the time- with one thing at a time.
