hela Sverige We are looking for a talented and experienced backend software engineer to join our development team! You will take joint ownership of our backend systems, from coding to architecture, in an ambitious startup on a mission to redefine the world of contract management! Sounds exciting?
About the role
We are looking for a backend software engineer to join our team of talented developers. Someone who shares our interest in distributed systems, their scalability and continued development. Your main focus will be on Python development, but we see it as a plus if you have experience from development in other languages as well.
As part of the backend team you will take joint ownership of the backend systems, with responsibility to make sure we can meet customer needs while staying performant and reliable. You will also be an active part of both product development and a fast-growing startup where your opinions and passions will have a real impact!
Your days will be filled with:
Creating, developing and maintaining the backend components
Discussions and debates, both technical and non-technical
Setting future architecture and technology stack
Maintaining and monitoring our various environments
Skills & Requirements
We would like you to have a background from, or a strong interest in:
Long term product development
System development
Multiple programming languages (Python, Java, C#, Ruby, Scala, C/C++, Erlang, etc)
Algorithms, patterns and data structures (where and how to use them)
Service oriented architecture (APIs, micro-services, etc.)
GNU/Linux (command line fu, scripting, configuration, etc.)
5+ years experience working as an engineer
1+ years experience of software development in Python
It would also be really awesome if you’re excited about:
Cloud APIs (AWS, Rackspace, Azure etc.)
Scalable Architecture (auto-scaling, sharding, queuing etc.)
Security architecture (OWASP, encryption, etc.)
Logging and Monitoring (LogStash, Datadog, statsd, syslog, etc.)
Working close to a product and the customers
