Who are we?
Pierce Group is Europe's largest and fastest-growing motorcycle-focused online retailer. We focus on gear and accessories within Motocross, Motorcycles, and Snowmobiles and the company is currently in an amazing growth support, growing by 30% annually!
At the beginning of 2009 we were a team of 4, today we have a local presence in 17 European markets with over 400 employees, 5 offices in Sweden, Spain, and Poland. In 2021 Pierce completed an IPO and listed its shares on Nasdaq, Stockholm's main stock market.
The role
We are currently working on several initiatives within the whole organization around the services and integrations of the ERP/WMS/Data domain. For this position we are looking for someone to join us in either Stockholm or Åre and you will work closely with other teams from Pierce. Your team mates are based in Stockholm, Åre and Szczecin.
In this role, you will work closely with other java developers, architects and application specialists and get to experience your coding making a difference. At Pierce Group, there's not a long way from a code change to seeing results in our business, e.g., writing new code and noticing an impact on services towards our customs or internal business users.
The ambition of this role is to increase delivery capacity in the team and together with your colleagues deliver better maintainability, new functionality, and new integrations within the domain.
The team
Being a team of 10, with a java developer, product owner, architects and applications specialists, the ERP/WMS/Data team is a perfect place to grow and develop both personally and professionally. As the team is not that big, you will get the chance to shine and explore multiple areas. We are a proud team of different nationalities and backgrounds, and we work with both modern technologies and a bit of legacy which we gradually are moving away from, hopefully with you onboard to help us forward!
We believe that you have
- At least 4 years' experience working with Java
- Experience working with Spring & Spring boot
- Experience in SQL server
- Experience in Rest API
- Experience in microservices
- Experience in public cloud
- Working with agile methods
- Experience working with eCommerce or ERP domains is considered a plus
