So, what is it that you could do for us you might wonder. Well, to be honest we could certainly need your help to set the table if you could help us to break down the monolith platform and transform it into microservices. Could you?

Now, picturing this: You will be part of a team consisting of a bunch of really skilled developers who creates elegant, simple solutions that scale well. They work in small cross functional, agile, self managing teams, using and experimenting with the latest and greatest techniques and tools to keep their knowledge to a cutting edge level. Tempting?

You as a humble rebel @ Fyndiq will:

Contribute to the transformation from a monolith into a service based platform
Translate business requirements and ideas to technical implementation
Define and implement the future architecture of Fyndiq.
Test and review of fellow Fyndians contribution/code
Be part of a team that defines their own process and also strives to constantly improve it - agile all the way!

So, pack your bags with:

Solid backend development experience focused on web
Skills in multiple programming languages (Python, golang, Ruby, Java, PHP)
Experience in building service oriented systems (microservices, APIs, Pub/Sub)
Version control, code reviews, and unix command line are your good friends.

What about this Fyndiq?

Born in 2010, Fyndiq is what we call a B2B2C online marketplace for bargain products. On the one hand we have merchants who want to sell bargain products in Sweden. On the other hand we have online shoppers who are keen on finding kickass bargain.

Our mission is to bring Small Moments of Joy into everyone's lives, and bringing out that unexpected smile. From our Fyndian home in Stockholm, we work on perfecting those small moments of shopping and Ecommerce joy for our MIFs (most important friends).

So what we, the humble rebels, are doing is creating bargain magic. We do it by leaving our comfort zone, being awesome team players and making sure good ideas turn into great solutions. It's as easy-peasy as that.
