Iconik is seeking a python backend developer, for our product team. For this role, we're looking for a driven developer, with a bachelor or masters degree in computer science, or equivalent. We work in a cloud based micro services architecture, with primarily Python and Flask.

In this role, you will have a great deal of autonomy in your prospective area while collaborating with the rest of the R&D team.

What You'll Be Doing
Software development in Python, and possibly other programming languages
Participate in testing and documentation efforts.
Participate in our backend support to investigate customer issues.
What You Should Have
At least 5 years professionally working with Python development. Experience with Flask, Marshmallow and Celery is a plus.
An academic background, preferably in Computer Science
A proven track record that you can work independently and come up with good solutions to problems
Experience with Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, Cassandra, Redis and Kubernetes is meriting.
Experience with working in cloud environments, such as Google Cloud or AWS.
You're naturally curious, love learning new things, and are proactive in sharing knowledge with others.
You possess a strong sense of urgency in driving projects to completion while achieving the desired business outcomes.
