Part of our PoS Alliance, the core mission of the Inventory Team consists in helping sellers with their stock management by offering fast and reliable tools in our Point of Sale (PoS) App.
In this role, you will get the opportunity to closely collaborate with Client Developers in order to create a tailored API and User Experience to our Merchants, as well as with Backend Developers in charge of developing a first-class end-to-end solution catered to our user's needs. Your mission, should you choose to accept it...
Simply stated, your core mission will consist in architecting and writing high quality code while taking care of the infrastructure and monitoring our systems. Overall, your everyday life would include:
Designing, implementing and maintaining features with a high level of autonomy;
Taking part in system design and collaborate with Teams and other Developers across the our Backend Chapter, from code reviews to bouncing ideas and Mob Programming;
Experimenting and learning more about design, technology and processes;
Ensuring a high level of quality, usability and maintainability of the (reusable) components and code.
Since we believe in using the best tools for the task, we are continuously reviewing our toolkit, architecture and ways of working. In this spirit, we work with Java 15, Kotlin, GraphQL, Dropwizard, Wildfly, Docker, Terraform, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, and everything is hosted on Amazon Web Services
The Skills to succeed:
A solid experience in Backend Development with Java 8+ and NoSQL Databases (ideally Cassandra);
A solid expertise in designing and maintaining Libraries/APIs used by others;
A genuine desire to be part of a diverse Team working in an Agile environment.

Bonus points if you are...
Consistently keeping up-to-date with the latest evolutions in Tech;
Familiar with Kotlin (would be really good);
Experienced in Pair/Mob programming.
