Are you our next backend developer?
Our services are growing more popular by the day, and we're growing with them. So now we're looking for someone with talent and passion for software development. As a software developer at Kivra you'll be part of building a massive scalable platform. Our services deal with large amounts of users, data and transactions on a daily basis. Our objective is to do so with 100% availability.
We believe in doing things smart, simple and Open Source, which reflects our tech stack. As a software developer at Kivra, you'll be part of developing services used by millions of Swedes.
What we're looking for
You have a relevant degree, or equivalent experience and passion for software development. We believe that you thrive in a fast paced environment with rapid decision-making. But most importantly, you're a doer. We want you to be excited by your work. Just like we are. Furthermore, you love challenges. Just like we do. A logical and analytical mindset are two competencies that we highly value. Our platform and core is built on Erlang, Riak, Kafka, Hadoop, Scala, Zookeeper, Docker and Kubernetes.
What you'll be doing
You'll both develop new and existing services. You'll belong to one of our feature or platform teams and on a daily basis you will be working closely with our product owners to develop new features and identify new areas of application to our services. Security, reliability and scalability are three things that we value very high and serves as a foundation for our services.
