Cloud and IoT development is changing the way we see the world and we are now looking for a Cloud Developer that is used to advise customers on technical challenges and guiding them to usable solutions. For that, we like you to have experience in designing and implementing modern Cloud solutions. Depending on the customer, project, and your own interest, the technical challenges at Avalon can span the entire lifecycle of system development, from understanding requirements to testing and quality assurance.
In several of our projects, you are mainly located at our customers who operate in many different industries and segments. No matter what projects you end up in, you will work under conditions that support your individual growth by giving you challenging tasks to solve.
You are really passionate about what you do and have a great interest in following the latest methods in your area of expertise. You are curious to learn more and are not afraid to try the latest.
Who you are
We believe you are a Cloud backend developer with experience in designing and implementing modern backend solutions, REST API servers, microservices and admin interfaces. Going in the direction of DevOps, you have also managed the cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP and have certification on at least one of them. You are used to work with linux VMs, Docker container and Kubernetes Clusters And you know your way around creating scalable solutions. You enjoy creating end to end solutions that work across different layers and integrate multiple components and devices.
Some of the expertise we would like you to have: Python, Go, Docker, Kubernetes, GCP, AWS, Azure, C#, Django, Nginx, Redis, Postgresql, Bigquery and GCP certification.
You have worked with these tools and and very familiar with these methods: Agile, Scrum, Kanban and JIRA
