Fantasy Interactive designs and develops award-winning next-generation rich internet applications for clients such as MTV, America Online, Time Warner Cable and AT&T. Our offices are located in New York and Stockholm, and the company employs over 50 different professionals and experts.
Our company is growing and we are now looking for a new Back-End Developer to join the FI team in Stockholm, to be part of our latest product development.
Role overview
As a Back-End Developer you will be designing large-scale platforms capable of serving millions of visitors every day and that are state of the art when it comes to stability, speed and data optimization. Your main role in the team will be to provide the server-side foundations that enhance the possibilities of our front-end developers to create seamless user experiences.
As an FI Developer you are detail oriented and extraordinarily passionate about problem solving. Like the rest of us you are a creative and communicative person who is comfortable working as part of a team.
Qualifications:
• A degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
• Experience in working with:
• J2EE or .NET, preferably C#
• XML
• Databases - design, writing stored procedures (MSQL, MySQL are merited)
• Experience in building AJAX applications and/ or large-scale web applications
• Knowledge of Hibernate, SPRING
• Knowledge of script languages (Java Script, VB Script)
