You'll be helping to build our collaborative production tracking, project management, and media review platform used by the teams that create the films, television shows, and games enjoyed by audiences around the world.
As a back-end developer, you'll work from our Stockholm office using technologies such as Python, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, GCE, and MariaDB. You will work with our talented development team, who share an interest in robust back-end systems, scalability, and development.
Alongside bright and passionate colleagues, you will help develop the best project management and media review solutions for world-leading creative studios in media and entertainment.
This role will report directly to VP Engineering
What you'll do
Work with and contribute to a modern technology stack.
Design, develop and deploy back-end services focusing on performance, security, scalability, and high availability.
Work with a team of engineers to deliver new API functionality to the front-end team.
Participate in building and operating internal toolset, infrastructure, and deployment solutions for the team.
Continuously improve our product by collaborating with the team and customers to better understand how they use it.
Who you are
You have at least five years of experience as a back-end developer with Python code, relational databases, SQL, modern infrastructure, and tools.
You have experience in continuous delivery and automated testing.
You have a solid understanding of web application security and best practices.
You are fluent in English, both spoken and written.
You are interested in current best practices in your areas of expertise and make sure to stay up-to-date with new and relevant technologies.
You're familiar with designing and building distributed and scalable systems and take pride in delivering robust and reliable solutions.
You enjoy working with the entire life-cycle of service, from planning code to writing it, testing, deploying to production, and supporting its maintenance.
