hela Sverige We are a highly technical-intensive team that likes to solve problems and handle complex questions. We're now looking for a Back end lead. You will have the self-drive and motivation to work independently as well as part of a wider team.
Uniper's strategic nuclear power operation is located in Sydkraft Nuclear Power AB (SNP) in Malmö. We have a stake in all Swedish active nuclear power plants and in Swedish nuclear fuel and waste management Co (SKB). At SNP we assess safety, risks, investments and costs - so the nuclear plants operate safely, efficiently and profitably.
What will you do?
You will act as the subject expert for the Swedish nuclear waste management system. You will ensure that you have up to date technical competences and are informed about new developments within the nuclear power environment. You will have the confidence to technically challenge the large SKB projects such as extended Final Repository for Short-lived Radioactive Waste, Combined intermediate storage and encapsulation plant and final repository for spent fuel.
• You monitor and challenge the management of existing waste facilities.
• You handle and develop decommissioning concepts in cooperation with BKAB and OKG
• You ensure efficient knowledge transfer between OKG, BKAB and Center of Competence Decommissioning at SNP
• You supply technical support to Asset Management SKB/BKAB/OKG* You monitor and benchmark the international development of decommissioning and participate in national and international forums for waste and decommissioning.
We are looking for you to have a strong analytical mindset and willingness to drive performance and change. Good communication and collaboration skills are essential as you work closely with our partners. You have the ability to see the bigger picture and find a pragmatic approach. You have the ability and willingness to work with other people in an international environment.
• You have a Master degree in Science or equivalent.
• You have a very good knowledge in Nuclear Regulation and the Swedish system for nuclear waste.
• You are fluent in written and spoken Swedish and English.
• Experience of nuclear plant operations, waste management and decommissioning of nuclear power plants is not required, but of course an advantage.
