IKEA Home smart was initiated as a project in 2012 with the ambition to enrich life at home by incorporating digital elements and technologies into products and solutions. Several launches within the smart home has followed since then and now IKEA has taken the strategic decision to invest even more in the home smart area by establishing IKEA Home smart as its own business unit within IKEA of Sweden.
By working together with all other departments within IKEA, the business unit of IKEA Home Smart will drive the digital transformation of the IKEA range, improving and transforming existing businesses and developing new businesses to bring more diverse smart products to the many people. As Marketing & Communication Communicator, you create and secure high quality communication content for our consumer facing touch points to make the buying process easy and smooth for our customers.
About the job
Your main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Analyse and identify the communication needs based on IKEA Home smart Business Plan, together with market insights and customer needs, in order to decide what, when and how to communicate for all consumer-facing media and channels (excluded IKEA Home smart App);
• Contribute to the creation and development of IKEA Home Smart internal communication content;
• Responsible for range and product knowledge content and technical content;
• Responsible of all activities connected to IKEA Home Smart labels, including cross units coordination and responsible to set IKEA Home Smart sales solution requirements on the products (i.e. packaging requirements);
• Proactively inform communication production suppliers about upcoming plans to secure the content readiness;
• Support the creation of global learning offer/solutions to enable people to lead and work with IKEA Home Smart;
• Contribute to the Marketing & Communication budget, as well as to the yearly Communication Plan;
• Manage the execution of the communication production in the different media activation projects.
Qualifications
We are looking for you with passion for communication, business, branding! You are guided by simplicity and always strive to exceed customer expectations by delivering high quality communication. You have several years of experience working with communication, and the ability to apply a range and communication direction to product communication. You enjoy taking initiatives and to lead and drive product- and range communication content with a customer perspective. You are detailed, structured and analytical end enjoy working cross functions and organisations.

Strongly preferred competences and experiences:
• Experience from the industry/market of Internet of Things;
• Capability in developing products/solutions including software and electronics;
• Knowledge in digital solutions and digital interfaces for consumer products;
• Capability in agile development methods of products/solutions.
